Third-annual Shawano and Menominee Counties Financial Wellness
Conference – The Money Conference™
When: Saturday March 29th - 8:30am – 2:30 pm
(Registration & Breakfast begins at 7:30)
Where: Menominee Indian High School (Keshena)
What:
• Over 15 one-hour classroom sessions featuring instruction on
topics such as credit reports and scores, homeownership, how to
start your own business, budget basics, and more.
• Age-appropriate programming for students
• morning keynote speaker: Professor Mark Schug of the University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee, speaking on “Rules for Staying Ahead in a
Recession”
• Child care for kids between the ages of 2 and 6 (call ahead to
make reservations)
• Everyone at the Conference will be able to get a free copy of his
or her credit report, complete with credit score, and will be able
to ask a credit expert questions in a one-on-one setting.
• Door prizes throughout the day
• Healthy continental breakfast and lunch included with the modest
admission charge.
Cost: Free for adults and youth who register before March 21.
Following March 21 and at the door: $2.00 per adult and free for
students under the age of 18.
