Admission is free for
students who qualify for free/reduced-price lunches under MMSD
guidelines. Tuition is $600 for others. In addition, Madison city
bus passes are available for students who need them. Click here for a

What is the Youth POWER Academy of Finance personal finance and college readiness "boot camp" What students will learn Basic economics concepts Personal finance -- identifying goals and preparing a budget to meet them How to analyze stocks for investment Entrepreneurship is it right for you? College prep -- admissions, financial aid, career choices Computer skills such as Powerpoint and Excel Public speaking skills Small group collaborative skills. When is the Academy in session June 14 through 18 and June 21 through 25, 2010 (2-week program); 8:30 am until 12 noon each day Location Edgewood College (Predolin Hall) Age range accepted students entering middle school in the fall of 2010, and early high school students Cost free to those within the MMSD free/reduced price lunch guidelines; $600 for others Transportation assistance bus passes will be provided upon request
