Results of 2008 Milwaukee Competition
A team from Milwaukee's South Division High School won the 2008 Milwaukee FICB, outlasting another South Division team and a team from South Milwaukee High School in a thrilling final round.
What: Seventh-annual Milwaukee Finance and Investment Challenge Bowl When: Wednesday April 23.2008 from 8:30 until 1:00. Where: MPS Central Services Building, Vliet Street ( Need a map? ) What: The FICB is a semester-long personal finance study program for students culminating in a quiz competition to enhance and test student knowledge. FICB participants form teams of four students under the supervision of an adult coach and are required to master the content found at www.ficbonline.org. This educational content on this website is provided by Precision Information, LLC, a Wisconsin provider of NASD-compliant investment education content. Students can visit this website without charge to use its Learning Library and to take practice tests in preparation for the live competition, which will occur on April 26. All students who participate in the competition will receive a US Savings Bond, and the total value of prizes awarded will be over $1,000!
