The Millionaires Club is an evening program for high-school and middle-school members that introduces students to financial ideas and trains them in the practical money management skills of setting financial goals, budgeting, saving and investing. With a special emphasis on serving low- and moderate-income students, including low-achieving students, The Millionaires Club fosters the personal values of conduct within each participant of self-respect, assertiveness, excellence, and professionalism.

The Millionaires Club connects adults and children using a model that is closer to a mentoring and tutorial framework than a classroom framework. Each student receives a great deal of personal attention, and the student’s participation and performance are closely observed and supported by the program leaders. For these reasons, Asset Builders believes that 15 members is the optimal size of a club program.

Asset Builders is currently conducting two Millionaires Clubs in Madison: at the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County, (Taft Street) and at the Allied Drive Community Center. We are also conducting a Millionaires Club in Milwaukee in cooperation with the Milwaukee Urban League Academy for Business and Economics (MULABE).
