Third-annual Shawano/Menominee Finance and Investment Challenge Bowl.

            When: at the Financial Wellness Conference; March 27, 2010

            What:  college bowl quiz competition for high school students, testing their knowledge of economics, investing, personal finance, college readiness, and credit concepts.

What: Sixth-annual Financial Wellness Conference Conference™. 

                There is no selling or high pressure sales tactics of any sort at the Conference.  It is a purely educational event.

Who is Putting on the Conference: Asset Builders is a Wisconsin nonprofit organization and conducts the Conference in cooperation with many partners from the area and around the state.

When: Saturday March 26, 2011 from 8:00am – 1:00 pm

            (Registration & Breakfast begins at 7:30)

Where:  Menominee Indian High School, Keshena WI

What:

·         Keynote speaker – “Doc” Hopkins of Doc’s Harley Davidson

·         18 one-hour classroom sessions featuring instruction on topics such as “How to Read your Credit Report and Improve your Credit Score”, “Getting Into Your First Home”, “How to Get Out of Living Paycheck to Paycheck/Budget Basics”, “Feeding Your Family on a Budget: Hints, Tips & Recipes (repeated session)”, and much more.

·         Age-appropriate programming for students.

·         Child care for kids between the ages of 2 and 6 (advance reservations necessary).

·         Everyone at the Conference will be able to get a free copy of his or her credit report, and will be able to ask a credit expert questions in a one-on-one setting.

·         Door prizes throughout the day.

·         Continental breakfast and lunch included with the modest admission charge.

Cost: Advance registration (if received before March 18) is FREE.  After that date, registration is $1.00 for students and $2.00 for adults.
