What the Challenge Bowl asks about
More than 300 questions are asked at each Challenge Bowl, drawn from 10 published content categories. Every question is finance-related — there is no material from non-finance subjects. A team does not need to master all of them to compete well; most rounds reward solid everyday personal-finance reasoning.

How to prepare
Students with coursework in personal finance, economics, or marketing — or who participate in DECA or FBLA — are typically well prepared. No student needs to know every answer; the point of the Challenge Bowl is education. Every one of these materials is free to use. Coaches typically work through the practice question sets as a classroom or after-school activity, and lean on the glossary to close gaps in vocabulary along the way.
