About Asset Builders of America

Asset Builders of America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1999 in Madison, Wisconsin. For over 27 years, we have worked to advance financial literacy and economic empowerment for low- and moderate-income youth and families across Wisconsin and northern Illinois.

Our flagship program is the Finance & Investment Challenge Bowl (FICB), a financial literacy competition for Wisconsin and northern Illinois students that tests knowledge of personal finance, investing, and economic concepts. We also operate the Youth P.O.W.E.R. Academy, which delivers financial capability education to young people and families.

Asset Builders was founded by Richard Entenmann and Robert Wynn — both veterans of financial investor protection, with backgrounds at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions respectively. Their goal was to proactively educate individuals to avoid financial pitfalls and predatory practices, and to show a better path to personal wealth and economic stability.

The Asset Builders of America, Inc. logo is available as vector (SVG) files for print and digital use, in two lockups: horizontal for wide placements, stacked for square or narrow ones. Each lockup also comes in an inverse variant — use it on dark or brand-coloured backgrounds, where the standard wordmark would disappear. Please do not recolour, stretch, or redraw the artwork. A vector version of the Challenge Bowl mark is not yet available — see below.
