Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Asset Builders of America collects and uses information through this website. Effective August 1, 2026.

What information we collect

We collect information only when you voluntarily provide it or when standard web analytics tools record it automatically. The specific categories are:

Contact form submissions

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you provide, along with a message-type field that helps us route your inquiry to the right person.

Registration inquiries

Schools and educators interested in participating in the Finance & Investment Challenge Bowl may submit a registration inquiry. We collect the information you provide in that form in order to follow up with you about participation.

Volunteer and sponsor inquiries

If you express interest in volunteering or sponsoring our programs, we collect your name, organization, email address, phone number, and message, along with a message-type field.

Newsletter signups

If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address.

Web analytics (Google Analytics 4)

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. GA4 collects standard usage data such as page views, session duration, general geographic region, and browser or device type. GA4 may use cookies to distinguish visits. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors by name. Google’s own privacy policy governs how Google handles data collected through GA4.

How we use this information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your inquiry. When you contact us, submit a registration inquiry, or express interest in volunteering or sponsoring, we use your information to respond to you.
  • Operating our programs. Registration inquiry information is used to coordinate Challenge Bowl participation for schools and regions.
  • Sending our newsletter. Email addresses collected through newsletter signups are used to send our newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time.
  • Understanding site usage. Analytics data helps us understand which content is useful, how visitors navigate the site, and how we can improve it.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to the above.

Payments — what we do not collect

This site does not process payments directly and never collects or stores payment card information. Donations are made through Mightycause, an external platform. When you click a "Donate" link, you are taken to Mightycause’s own website. Any payment information you enter there is governed by Mightycause’s privacy policy, not this one.

How information is stored

Information you submit through this site is stored on servers that we access for program operations. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the data we hold. We retain inquiry information only as long as it is needed to respond to you or to operate our programs.

We do not make specific representations about the security of any particular system or hosting provider because no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be fully secure.

Third-party services

This site uses two external services that may receive or process data:

  • Google Analytics 4. Provides web analytics. Google may set cookies and collects usage data as described above. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Mightycause. Processes donations. If you click a donate link, you leave this site and interact with Mightycause’s platform directly. See Mightycause’s Privacy Policy.

You may opt out of Google Analytics across websites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
