Monroe High School Prevails in State Finance and Investment Challenge Bowl

Monroe High School is the 2016 Finance & Investment Challenge Bowl state champion, defeating Sauk Prairie High School 170–165 in Milwaukee. The outcome came down to the final question — it was the first state title appearance for either school.
DePere and Rhinelander rounded out the final four. David Mancl of the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions and Richard Entenmann of Asset Builders of America congratulated the team, coached by Sherri Hendrickson.
More than 600 students competed across seven regional meets that year. The Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions is a sponsor of the Challenge Bowl.
