RHS Makes Great Showing at State FICB Finals

Rhinelander High School fielded three teams at the state Finance & Investment Challenge Bowl in Milwaukee, all three ultimately falling to eventual champion Monroe High School. RHS I advanced furthest, beating Marshfield 125–100 and then Racine Case 1 to reach the Final Four before losing to Monroe. RHS II beat Pius XI before losing to Monroe on a tie-breaking question, and RHS III also fell to Monroe.
Sixteen teams from across the state competed in the live, college-bowl-style tournament, answering 30 questions split between personal money management and current events, general business terms, technology, economics and insurance.
